The 2023 edition of Outside Lands consisted of a stacked lineup with over 100 acts that performed across eight stages positioned throughout San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park from August 11–13. Over 220,000 festival attendees enjoyed live music, food, wine, and art including interactive installations and visual displays.

With Kendrick Lamar, the Foo Fighters, ODESZA, Lana Del Rey, The 1975, Megan Thee Stallion, and Zedd at the top of the bill, Outside Lands rarely fails to bring a formidable roster of headliners to San Francisco for its annual jaunt. Where the festival truly stands out though is elsewhere on the bill — local acts, rising stars, food and drink, art and comedy. Musically, Outside Lands stands out for the wide diversity of talent it brings together. Where else can you see Bob The Drag Queen, Shaq (aka DJ Diesel) and Noah Kahan on the same line up? Outside Lands continues to remind us what a three day festival truly can be, whether you’re the type to sit back amongst the cypress trees or let it all out in the SOMA Tent (or, new this year, Dolores’ open-air dance club).

Even through the fog, it’s rare to find a face that isn’t beaming. And by the way, take a look at some of those faces in our gallery of the best vibes and outfits from the weekend.

We had the incredible opportunity to catch a few acts throughout the weekend and invite you to view our photo gallery by Respect Your Youngers contributor, Sandra Jamaleddine.
