The North American leg of Tove Lo’s Dirt Femme tour, which kicked off in Nashville, TN earlier this month, made its way through various cities including Queens, NY, Chicago, IL, and most recently, stopped at the iconic Fox Theater in Oakland, CA. The 2,800-seat concert hall, formerly a movie theater, held a vast crowd excitedly waiting for the alt-pop singer/songwriter to appear on stage. Fans were decked out in fun outfits including bedazzled mesh tank tops, colorful pants, and tall, heeled boots.

After much anticipation, Tove Lo appeared on stage wearing a slate gray armor-like ensemble and started off the night with “Pineapple Slice,” one of her more recent songs that was released in late 2022 featuring SG Lewis. Her set continued with tracks such as “Attention Whore,” “Cool Girl,” and “Are U gonna tell her?”

Around a third of the way through her set, Tove Lo exited the stage and quickly reappeared barefoot in a sheer green bodysuit. Throughout her performance, she moved around on the stage and encouraged the audience to jump along with her. The stage was covered in clouds, most likely as a nod to her debut studio album, Queen of the Clouds, released in 2014.

One of the highlights of the night was when Tove Lo sang her first encore, a slowed-down version of “Imaginary Friend,” a deep cut from her album Lady Wood. Many in the crowd pulled out their phone flashlights to sway with the music and the large venue quickly felt like a small, intimate space. The audience energy shifted as Tove Lo ended off the night with two upbeat hits, “Habits (Stay High)” and “No One Dies From Love.” By the end of the show, Tove Lo left everyone in awe as she blended her raw, grungy vocals with catchy and exhilarating pop lyrics.
