Ashnikko took the stage this past weekend at the Agora in Cleveland. She was preceded by Audrey Nuna, another great performer who got the crowd hyped up for her set. Ashnikko herself then appeared on stage led by two dancers, who then split revealing her behind them. The crowd went wild. They flanked her for choreography throughout the show along with two giant bioluminescent structures and a giant LED screen to complete the set. She performed high-energy hits such as “Daisy” and “STUPID.” The tour is following her latest album, “WEEDKILLER,” which made up most of the setlist. Most of her set was defined by the high-production, high-energy nature of her hyper-pop music. However, she also took quiet moments throughout the set to honor the reasons why she does what she does, such as LGBTQ+ rights and supporting bodily autonomy. Fans came away from the set feeling empowered and energized.
