Misterwives brought their “Don’t Look Down” tour to Columbus, Ohio alongside singer Bishop Briggs. Bishop Briggs performed first. The backdrop to her set was three cubes covered in LED screens that changed graphics according to each song. The setup was altered slightly with the cubes being rotated and new equipment being set up to accommodate all of the band members of the Misterwives for their set. Misterwives wore matching black and red outfits to compliment their new era of more hardcore pop music. The difference was interesting from the last time I saw them over a year ago when they toured for a more colorful era. Though the visuals changed, it worked because the heart of their music stayed the same. They were still the same talented musicians and performers who provided an uplifting experience for their fans who attended the shows. That is what makes the shows work and why they can change the face of their shows so successfully. It’s impossible not to have fun at a Misterwives show!
