This past week, Malice K played the Mercury Lounge in New York, NY. The venue consisted of a long narrow room with a bar, which lead to a bigger room where the show was held. The band ‘Voyeur’ opened, setting the tone for the evening. Malice K then followed, accompanied by a full band and playing the guitar at times himself. He kept a straight-faced demeanor while throwing himself around the stage and belting out impressive vocals. The performance, together with his mullet and leather jacket, made it feel like you were in the presence of a huge rock star in that small room.
