As Halloween chills and thrills took over San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, Breakaway Bay Area returned for its third year, embracing its new Halloween weekend slot with a stellar second night. Presented by Another Planet Entertainment and powered by CELSIUS Energy, Breakaway took the Bay by storm, offering a two-night lineup filled with headliners Marshmello and RL Grime alongside a mix of 21 national and local artists, making it the ultimate Halloween rave experience.
Fans decked out in Halloween costumes danced to haunting sets by the night’s big names—ALOK, Wreckno, Inzo, JOYRYDE b2b HABSTRACKT, and Wax Motif. Not to be outdone, local heroes Dathma and Trillmar added a uniquely Bay Area energy to the night, showcasing Breakaway’s dedication to local talent and community. The night was rich with immersive sponsor activations, with brands like CELSIUS, Bacardi, and SHEIN creating unforgettable fan experiences.
Adam Lynn, Breakaway’s co-founder, captured the spirit best: “The Bay Area crowd always brings such an infectious energy, and we were thrilled to bring Breakaway here over Halloween weekend for the first time.” Adding to the sentiment, Another Planet’s Bryan Duquette highlighted, “Halloween and San Francisco? There’s truly nothing like it.”
I loved that fans could choose between being on the floor or watching in the stands above, everyone was so kind and the festival ran smoothly.
For fans, Breakaway Bay Area’s second night was an all-out celebration—a musical escape full of surprises and Halloween magic. We can’t wait to see what’s in store next year!
